The Beauty Of Metallic Symphony

If one's bane is the world's boon

If you could condemn a single child to eternal suffering and torment so as to bring happiness to the entire world, would you?

In Singapore, we are easily protected from harm. I can assure you that seeing someone die in Singapore ain't pretty at all. Take the murder case in Downtown East for an example. The four hooligans stabbed someone older than them, or the same age, to death. Did they escape? No! They died under the hands of justice. Some were hung, some were condemned in prison and some in boy's home(FYI, boy's home is a prison specially made for people below the age of 18)

Right at the top of this post itself is a question. In fact, the consequences may be worse for a subject than death itself. The child instead of dying and blessed by God, has to live on and suffer 24/7. Not the old-school kind of suffering like in school, but... Well... Imagine that single child being spellbound by hellfire and have him breathe ghoulish air and see nothing but hellfire, maybe frequent strains on his entire body and stuff...(WOW! How sadistic can I get?)

However, all this pain on this innocent little child means good for the entire world. Meaning: No more natural disasters to invade innocent countries, no more animal endangerment and no more chances of species going extinct. Everyone will be able to get whatever they want. When they want rain for their farms, rain comes. When they want the Sun to set so that the picturesque sunset period will come by, here it is.

I am not a biased person. I am not neutral either. I have to make my stand, so here's my own personal response: I shall NOT grant the poor child to eternal condemnation and torment. Happiness can be easily worked out. Just say "Hi" when you pass by someone you know. Just say "Thank You" when someone offers something that benefits you. Just say "Sorry" when you did something that hurts someone. I think that true happiness lies in simplicity. When one goes in deeper into this word, he finds nothing but despair. This is sooo like my bastard self last year. Being sensitive to details of such simple things only brings forth complications that create displeasure.
