"Expectations underestimate reality." --- A self-profound three word saying by myself.
The daily news in every channel speaks first of Japan's catastrophe. As a matter of facts, this twin disaster pandemic never fails to appear on the front page of every newspaper.
My father, the usual motherfucker, doesn't give a damn about Japan. He FRIGGING CARES ONLY FOR SINGAPORE!!! He thinks that so long as Singapore remained unharmed, the other parts of the world being in danger is none of his business. I even asked him to donate $20 on my behalf, yet he asked me to fork out $100 from my bank account before we chat. That damn no-good son-of-a-bitch! I'm gonna bet big times that he's gonna keep the money and trick me into believing that he donated the money. Thus I didn't ask for his help. Now I know why I seem to be the deviation of my family. My father is too much of a coward who hides in the 'safest' place from natural disasters. Yet looking on me, I ain't even scared of those soldiers holding rifles and standing on guard and setting up blockades. I ain't even afraid of the soccer ball hitting my face(Well... I'm scared of it hitting my groin).
My mother seemed concerned of the pandemic. However... She's not only concerned, she's PARANOID! Yesterday it rained, I arranged to play basketball with my friend. She kept warning me about the rain being "radioactive" and might cause skin cancer. Dude...
Hiding here at home, I was left with no choice. I got bored, so I started criticizing my father, reporting on my mother, and stuff...

"Pray for friends, pray for enemies. We can do nothing but pray, for peace."
The world... Is it really coming to an end? Was the calamity in Japan another one of those signals the Earth is trying to warn us and our inhumane activities? Japan was such a prosperous country with such advanced economy and technology. Yet it was small for a country though not as small as Singapore. Earthquakes and tsunami hit Japan hard. Many lost their home, lost their job. Their lives are a lot different from now on. Fancy those green-finger sweet potato farmers of Japan doing nothing but hide from the disaster on their homes? They can do nothing. These ain't terrorists, these ain't invaders from other nations. There are FRIGGING DISASTERS! They were indirectly made by human activities. So now, we(and I mean the ALL OF US) are still here, wasting electricity and other sources from this world and enjoying ourselves. The Japanese lost their comfortable lives and job privileges. I can say, with guilt, that WE unintentionally SABOTAGED Japan. Can we still smile about this? Now, here I am, hoping for the best for them. I feel sympathy for them. I really do...
