The Beauty Of Metallic Symphony

Shop

Today, I had fun visiting Plaza Singapura with a friend of mine, where we bought something I don't feel like sharing yet, maybe tomorrow, or the day after. I bought a fedora designed like the 60's. My parents said it looked antique, but I don't really feel it's that bad, is it? Because my younger brother loved it.

Tomorrow is the big day of Singapore, where political parties challenge one another for seats in the General Election. Yet such coincidence surprises me when this is also my friend's birthday. That is why I went to Plaza Singapura. I had another motive. That will be the time where the saying goes, "It is better to gift than receive". I do have doubts whether this friend even has the time to receive though...

Point of No Return

I have decided to quit playing basketball. This sport has totally ruined my life. In fact, I can just say that this is one of the worst sport I could ever think of. Initially, I should never have played this ball game, for I was never meant for it anyways. I shall never honor myself with being a basketball player anymore. I twisted my ankle on EVERY MATCH. My spectacles was destroyed. I was criticized for sucking in basketball because this game created many rules that ensured that I would suck in it. I lost trust of many people after many matches. I waste my time aspiring for a dunk when an average-sized oaf like me can't even do, even though the people of NBA could. I wasted so much of my time trying to train myself so that I could stand against the people playing for RC. I even wasted my mum's $9 when I lent my ball to some fools who never brought it back and never discussed about it after the day they borrowed it and even avoided me for that. The girl I liked also found a reason to avoid me, because she thinks I'm joining the goons in my school who lives on basketball and resemble hooligans. I was included in my class's blacklist of "basketball addicts" even though I was supposedly innocent and never played basketball as much as those goons. My studies were drastically affected by basketball in the 'bad' way. My parents, especially my father, lost trust in me, thinking I got into the wrong company. My brothers think that I'm a gangster because of me associating with the goons of my class. The main reason being: basketball.

Now, I shall say this again: when there is a basketball match, I'M OUT!
